Availability, hours, news…

Hi there! We are on the brink of a busy season and wanted to put out there what availability I have left for Fall (Sept.-Nov)…

My hours are Tuesdays-Saturdays. I am only taking 2-3 sessions per week that way I can give you the most customized and customer-service oriented experience. The days I have left in September-Nov are (for Saturdays)…

Oct. 9th (afternoon)

Oct. 30th (morning or afternoon)

Nov. 20th (morning or afternoon)

* I still have days that I am available during the week. The above dates are available Saturdays that are left.

* I will be out of the office Nov. 23-27 & Dec. 21-27.

* If you need print/products/cards by Christmas time, all orders need to be in by Dec. 6th.

*Booking as usual for December.

This weekend has been gorgeous! I finished my 5K this morning…I did pretty well for my first time. I ran it in about 29 minutes and won 3rd place in my age group. Now, I am ready for more! If I actually train for one, I think I can get that time down a lot lower. Anyways, enough about that…on to this beautiful family…

Baby Addi (11 months) and her beautiful mommy…

As many times as I have been downtown, I have never been to The Green Uptown. What a great place to start off our photo session.

I of course had to get a picture of Addi’s baby feet….

We then went over to Tryon street and took some more shots in front of a fountain…

I think Addi was a little worn out by the end of our session…

I feel so blessed to be doing what I am doing. I love being able to document families in their own homes, documenting their children jumping on the bed or hiding in pillows, playing with trains, and standing up on their own. I had so much fun with the “L” family on Saturday at their lovely home. Their 10 month old was taking steps and their two year old was full of personality. Thanks so much for having me come out and I hope you enjoy your slideshow!

Growing up, I didn’t get to see my cousins often. My parents were born and raised in Pennsylvania and when my four other siblings and I were all under the age of five, they moved us to NC, where I have been raised. All my extended family remained up there. So during the summers, I loved being able to go up there and see my cousins.

Yesterday, these five were a blast to hang out with. We played with bubbles, on the swing set, sprinklers, and ate watermelon. Thank you Christina and Ali! Your kids are beautiful and am thankful for the opportunity to document them. Enjoy your slideshow here!

My sister Carlyn has been dealing with migraines the past couple of weeks, and under these circumstances, she has needed my help watching her kids as she goes to different doctor’s appointments. It is unfortunate that I have to be asked to babysit to hang out with her three kids, my nephews and precious niece. I need to do better. I want to be more apart of their little lives. I can have a million excuses…they live 30 minutes away, I have to do this thing or that. Carlyn is doing better, but I am going to make a point to hang out with them more and it won’t be under those circumstances.

I saw this quote about family that I really liked…”Other things may change us, but we start and end with family.”

Here is one of Ava (my niece) being Ava a few weeks back….before it got REALLY hot. I got asked if I am still shooting outdoors and I said yes, but only in the morning and evenings at this point. I heard that it might get back into the eighties soon…you know it’s HOT when you are hoping for the upper eighties. Stay cool out there!

Mason…celebrating 1 year milestone.

It’s hard to believe I first met him when he was 3 months old. I went back to the “P” home and didn’t see a baby anymore, but a lively, smiling 1 year old. We got to hang out on the beach in their neighborhood, which was very beautiful, and where Mason’s parents got married. I loved how the boys just played in the sand, not caring about how dirty they were getting. That is the joy of childhood! Thank you so much Cara and Tony for having me out!

Love Mason’s emotion here. I honestly have no idea what he was laughing at. By far, one of my favorites from our session.
